Attorney Profile

A native of the metro-Atlanta area, Christy E. Draper, graduated from the University of Georgia in 1992 with a Bachelors of Art in Criminal Justice. After graduating from Walter F. George – Mercer University School of Law in 1996, Christy served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Douglas Judicial Circuit where she focused on the prosecution of domestic violence and crimes against children.

Most recently, Christy was a senior associate attorney with Stearns-Montgomery & Associates in Marietta, Georgia. While with Stearns-Montgomery & Associates, a primarily family and domestic law firm, Christy launched a criminal defense division for the firm.

In December 2005, Christy opened up her own practice in her hometown of Douglasville, Georgia. Christy’s practice focuses criminal defense matters, family, domestic, including matters in superior and juvenile court in the entire metro-Atlanta area. Christy also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in superior and juvenile court cases involving custody disputes.
